First of all, I would like to express my profound gratitude to GTZ Private Sector Promotion Program in Cambodia for offering an opportunity to Cambodia Village Phone Company to develop our business plan. To Mr. Udo Gartner, PSP Principal Advisor and Mr. Dang Lay Heng for their support guiding the Company to successfully launch the business. I also would like to express my sincere appreciation to UNDP Growing Sustainable Business initiative, in particular Mr. Ngo Natharoun, Mr. Hin Wisal and Mr. Jean Boisvert, for facilitating partnerships which lead to the formation of the Cambodia Village Phone Company. I would like express my profound gratitude to GTZ Consultant Ms. Kelly Hutchinson for her technical assistance and advice to make the Cambodia Village Phone Company
successful.
I also would like express my sincere thank to Dr. Noppanan Arunvongse Na Ayudhaya, Nokia-KTH CEO for providing the business inputs and cooperation with our Cambodia Village Phone Company in term of selling the NOKIA products, provides maintenance and services to Village Phone Operator and upgrading it products to adapt to the need of rural people. In addition, NOKIA-KTH has dedicated it staff to Cambodia Village Phone Company to conduct the training on using mobile phone and set up promotion strategy as a part of marketing strategy. In particular Mr. Eng Huor, Mr. Charles Ashley, Mr. Komkrit Chansongsang for their role in the pilot.
I would like to express my appreciation to our microfinance partners, Prasac and AMK in Cambodia for assisting in identifying the potential Village Phone Operator and working closely to ensure deployment and success of the new entrepreneurs. In addition, Prasac has dedicated staff to assist Cambodia Village Phone Company to promote it services in rural areas and assisting us to establish the marketing strategy and strengthening the Village Phone Operator networks in the future.
I would like to express my profound gratitude to Camshin Company that assisting Cambodia Village Phone Company. Thanks to Mr. Meas Pilipin for providing advice on products, services and network coverage to ensure the success of the Village Phone initiative in Cambodia. In addition, Camshin contributed airtime fee to support the sustainable development of Cambodia Village Phone Company which is greatly appreciated at the start up phase of the company.
Again, without our partners and existing Village Phone Operators who were involved in Pilot project in Siem Reap and Kampong Cham provinces from January – June 2007, the Cambodia Village Phone Company would not exist.

Thanks to our Board of Directors, in particular Chumteav Okhna Keo Maly, Vice-Chairman for the provision of offices for the Cambodia Village Phone Company.
